«Market value – because it contains two terms that we deal with very intensively. Firstly, the market, about which we collect and evaluate a great deal of information. Secondly, value, because with the right valuation method, we can assign a value to almost any building.»

What is your mission at Wüest Partner and what does your typical workday look like?

I value real estate of all kinds, from condominiums to luxury villas and historic townhouses to large investment properties. But it’s not always just about the going-concern value; assessing the potential is also part of it. For me, visits are a wonderful change from my day-to-day work.

What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of Wüest Partner, and why?

Market value – because it contains two terms that we deal with very intensively. Firstly, the market, about which we collect and evaluate a great deal of information. Secondly, value, because with the right valuation method, we can assign a value to almost any building.

What has been the most exciting project for you so far and what did it involve?

When I had the opportunity to visit and value a very well-known building of great historical importance in the center of St. Moritz.

How do you make an impact at Wüest Partner?

By staying true to my convictions and finding a suitable tool to communicate them to clients in specific projects. One example: The brief was to evaluate a scenario in which a building of only 13 years old was being demolished. Not only did we evaluate the scenario, but we also provided a calculation of the gray greenhouse gases and the costs that would incur if we had to pay for CO2.
