Mario Grubenmann leaves Wüest Partner, Rico Müller becomes new Group CFO

Mario Grubenmann has decided to depart from Wüest Partner in mid-2024 after 22 successful years. Following his departure, he plans to utilize the time gained to pursue personal projects and embrace new professional opportunities.
Since joining Wüest Partner in 2002, Mario Grubenmann has made significant contributions to the company’s progress in various capacities. From leading internal management processes to heading corporate functions, he eventually assumed the role of Group CFO as a partner and member of the Executive Board.
Mario Grubenmann reflects on his time at Wüest Partner, expressing, «When I joined Wüest Partner 22 years ago, the company employed 37 people in Zurich. Today, there are almost 500 employees spread across various locations in Europe. Witnessing the company’s remarkable growth has been truly inspiring. Wüest Partner has been like a home to me, and I will continue to be associated with the company.»

Rico Müller assumed the role of Group CFO on May 1, 2024, succeeding Mario Grubenmann on the Group Executive Board. He commenced his tenure at Wüest Partner on February 1, 2024, to acquaint himself with his duties and ensure a smooth transition. Originally an auditor, he brings extensive experience in the financial sector. Previously, he served as Head of Corporate Services North America and Director of Group Controlling at Aebi Schmidt, followed by a stint as CFO at HIAG. Most recently, he provided CFO services and financial expertise to various companies independently.
