GIS-Analysis
Parcel-focused spatial monitoring using current GIS data
Check locations for their attractiveness and monitor all value-relevant spatial developments. Based on a diverse data universe on micro and macro level.
On the basis of geographic information systems (GIS), we calculate densification potentials and densification reserves for entire communities and regions on a parcel-by-parcel basis. This information makes it possible to optimally implement your spatial development strategies.
Spatial data allow calculations of the effects of spatial planning measures. We focus on the analysis of monetary as well as urban planning effects, socio-demographic risks and potentials, and architectural aspects.
We design rating models at the municipal level to forecast regional development trends and to enable comparative, spatial analyses.
Use information on suitability for use and optimization potential. To do this, we determine the strengths and weaknesses of the sites according to targeted criteria. Location factors such as proximity to recreational areas, view quality or noise immission serve as a basis. In the case of commercial uses, customer potential and possible white spots are determined by means of pedestrian frequencies.
Classic maps and interactive products such as “GeoInfo” illustrate and clarify spatial developments.
We localize and quantify small-scale potentials for increasing population and employment densities. The calculated densification potentials result from the comparison of empirical data for today’s space user densities with modeled values. Both the calculation and the presentation are carried out for the area of Switzerland declared as a building zone.
