Simon Lüthi takes over as head of Bern office

Published: June 30, 2026

Simon Lüthi is the new site manager in Bern

At the beginning of June 2026, Simon Lüthi took over as head of Wüest Partner’s Bern office. An economist based in the city of Bern, he has been with Wüest Partner for several years and has close professional and personal ties to the region. As a study director, including for Immo-Monitoring, he is a well-known voice in analyzing market trends in the Espace Mittelland region and across Switzerland.

Simon Lüthi holds a master’s degree in International and Monetary Economics from the University of Bern before completing a DAS in Applied Statistics at ETH Zurich. Before joining Wüest Partner, he spent more than nine years at a major bank in the Bern region, where he gained extensive experience in both client advisory services and various corporate functions.

His areas of expertise include real estate market analysis and forecasting, regional market and location analyses, and development site advisory. Through in-depth data analysis and a strong understanding of economic relationships, he creates a sound basis for decision-making regarding investments, portfolio development, and strategic matters. In doing so, he helps private and institutional owners, investors, banks, and the public sector identify opportunities at an early stage and make well-informed decisions.

Simon knows the Bern market like few others and combines in-depth economic knowledge with strong analytical skills. I look forward to continuing our collaboration, and I am confident that, together, we will further expand Wüest Partner’s strong position in Bern.

Nico Müller, Member of the Group Executive Board

I am very much looking forward to this new role. The strong Bern team and Wüest Partner’s excellent data, analyses, and applications provide an ideal foundation for supporting our clients even more effectively in all areas of real estate. I see significant potential for the region, particularly at the intersection of consulting and data.
