What is your mission at Datahouse and what does your typical workday look like?

Keep stuff running! I’m Lead Software Engineer at Datahouse, a subsidiary of Wüest Partner. I ensure the architecture of our solutions makes sense in the long term and that we use synergies in the projects. I also act as a spontaneous troubleshooter; a problem solver, and I’m not afraid to challenge what my colleagues are doing from time to time.

What makes working at Datahouse special for you?

In the Datahouse team culture, pragmatism and the will to improve are deeply ingrained. That’s why we can solve problems with very little unnecessary friction, which is ultimately more fun (and also more efficient).

What has been the most exciting project for you so far, and what did it involve?

Planning and implementing the Datahouse stack. Due to Datahouse’s growth, the technologies used in our projects have diverged considerably. Working alongside our project teams, I have established a standard technology stack, which we are now gradually rolling out across all projects. This standardization allows us to minimize training and maintenance costs through centralization.

How do you make an impact at Datahouse?

Just do it.
