Innovation Story

«I see huge potential in digitalization for sustainability in property management.»

Documenting a property inspection at any time and with just one tool? The idea had been around for some time. But the reality – clipboard, paper notes, digital camera, media disruptions, etc. – that was what I kept coming up against.

So, together with a competitor, we developed Wüest Visits. Admittedly, finding the same denominator in a joint venture was sometimes challenging. But it made the product better. Since mid-2021, we’ve been documenting viewings with the Wüest Visits web app – on the device that everyone always has with them, their cell phone. This simplifies the work massively. What’s more, the app enables us to collect data more objectively and precisely and use it for even more detailed analyses.

It’s exciting: we are our own biggest critics and are constantly developing the tool. The fact that consultants and developers are in the same company and exchange ideas directly speeds us up enormously. We aim to capture increasingly more granular data and structure it automatically using artificial intelligence.

I am delighted to drive impact projects like these forward at Wüest Partner. Our dynamic and fast-paced environment is extremely conducive to innovation. And best of all, in Switzerland, we’ve set the industry standard with Wüest Visits and won numerous awards. This has given me a lot of visibility within the company and the industry. Giving up my “baby” was a tough moment. Now, a team of experts is driving the further development and marketing of Wüest Visits.
