Wüest Partner wins hypcloud as first German customer for renovation and CO₂ calcu­lator Wüest Refurb

Real estate service provider Wüest Partner is now offering its Wüest Refurb appli­cation in Germany – and has already secured its first customer there. hypcloud, a digital platform for commercial real estate financing, will integrate the tool into its website on October 1, 2023. Wüest Refurb is specif­i­cally designed to calculate renovation needs and CO₂ savings. The Berlin-based company, which has been brokering financing for project devel­opers and investors since 2019, aims to expand both its customer base and services for financing existing properties with Wüest Refurb. The tool works with a wealth of data derived from Wüest Partner’s many years of valuation experience across thousands of properties in Germany. Until now, the appli­cation has only been available in Switzerland (with data from the country), where it has already been used by numerous well-known companies and banks.

Wüest Refurb signif­i­cantly strengthens the advisory capabil­ities offered by banks and financial inter­me­di­aries. With just a few clicks, they can not only tell their customers the costs of renovating individual compo­nents, but also what effect the measures will have on the building’s energy require­ments and CO₂ emissions. This is a smart way of integrating sustain­ability criteria into real estate financing advice.

Wüest Refurb combines renovation expertise with sustain­ability

Working with Wüest Refurb is straight­forward: after entering the key property charac­ter­istics and previ­ously completed renova­tions, customers receive a wealth of valuable infor­mation presented graph­i­cally. They learn when the optimal time for the next renovation is and what costs will be incurred per building component. The tool also analyses the sustain­ability of the property and calcu­lates the extent to which the heat demand and CO₂ emissions can be reduced as a result of the planned renova­tions.
