Focus on sustainability and digitalisation: Wüest Partner acquires majority stake in Signa-Terre and takes over Khephren

Last update: September 13, 2024

On its growth path, the Wüest Partner Group is acquiring a majority stake in Signa-Terre AG and 100% of Khephren AG as of 6 October 2023. With this step, Wüest Partner strengthens its position in the field of holistic sustainability solutions and digital products for the real estate industry.

Founded in Geneva in 2008, Signa-Terre AG has successfully established itself in the field of collecting and processing energy consumption data from properties and in planning renovation cycles. The team of more than 50 experts stands for a high quality of service and for the competent development of sustainability solutions and software products, including the well-known product ImmoLabel. In recent years, Signa-Terre has been able to win a large number of Swiss real estate owners and managers as customers.

Also founded in Geneva in 2016, Khephren AG, a joint venture between Signa-Terre, Acanthe and BG Ingénieurs Conseils, has made a name for itself by developing a powerful and innovative platform. This SaaS application enables intuitive verification and management of the financial, technical and energy status of real estate portfolios.

The new combination of different core competencies creates a strong foundation to support real estate industry players even more broadly in the process of decarbonisation and digitalisation. While Khephren contributes valuable skills to the Wüest Partner Software House, Signa-Terre provides know-how regarding energy consumption and environmental sustainability. In combination with the real estate economic expertise and the existing sustainability, data and software expertise of the current Wüest Partner Group, valuable and far-reaching synergies can be realized. The result is a comprehensive range of services, from detailed analysis of energy consumption and sustainability indicators to CO2 ‑optimized maintenance strategies and strategic property and portfolio analyses — all from a single source.

Andreas Bleisch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wüest Partner, emphasizes: «These strategic acquisitions not only strengthen our service portfolio in the field of real estate sustainability, but also emphasise our presence in Western Switzerland. We look forward to future collaboration with the successful founders of these ventures and their teams, and to the valuable connections that will result for us and our clients.»

Signa-Terre AG will be continuously led by the two founders Laurent Isoard and Olivier Ouzilou. The established brand will be pursued in the long term. Khephren AG and its employees will be seamlessly integrated into the Data, Analytics & Technology Division of the Wüest Partner Group. The existing software will be retained and its functionalities will be integrated into the product range of the Wüest Partner Group. This will enable Khephren and Wüest Partner clients to benefit from an even more holistic value proposition in the future.
